key cracker

    i don't know where else yo ask this. I don't understand how to do this key thing for a downloaded game. it says to
    Step 1: Install the program
    Step 2: Extract cracked exe to the installation directory
    Step 3: Run the app.

    seems simple, but i dont get it!!!!
