My laptop has a keyboard problem.

when i press the letter 'k' for example it comes up as '2'.

i have tried to get the keyboard back to normal by going on control panel and accessability options but nothing seems to work.

the only way i can get 'k' to come up for example is to hold the FN key when pressing k

    what can i do

    thanks for any help

How old is the laptop? Like you titled the thread the keyboard probably has worn keys that are getting "sticky".

It's your keyboard, hold down function then a key that says "NUMLK". Your computer is stuck on the number lock function just press FN and NUMLK and it will be back to normal.
