I got a new keyboard because the previous one ceased to function.
But for some reason, when I reboot, the keyboard doesn' respond, but the mouse does (My keyboard and mouse is wireless). I kind of suspect this keyboard key reassigner that I used for a short time. Am I being paranoid or is the key-reassigning program some kind of spyware, malware, or virus of some kind?

The software I used might have been this,

    Or this

    Thanks for any help.

You'll have better luck in the 'Other PC Hardware' forum. I have requested this be moved there for you. :)

Yea, but it didn't detect anything.
And update on the situation, I got a wireless keyboard
"Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000", and it was running well at first. But when I turned off my computer and restarted it, the mouse was
working, but the keyboard wasn't connected. So for some reason I have to change the USB port and plug the USB into another USB port and restart my computer in order for the keyboard to work again. Does anyone know why this is happening? or how to fix it? Thanks.
