Hi, I'm hoping someone may have heard of this before as it's got me stumped. My microsoft wireless keyboard has suddenly went funny. Every pair of letters from the alphabet have been switch round, eg. a=b, b=a / c=d, d=c. Also 'tab' is now 'backspace' and vice versa. I can still use it to type, but it takes a bit of thinking to switch all the letters round in your head. I havent heard of a problem like this before and can't find anything on the internet about it. I have ran a virus check and my system got a clean bill of health. Any help would be much appreciated thanks
psml! i dont have answer but the smart-assed one would be to swap all the keys around.... please someone help this guy!
It sounds like it could be a controller fault with the keyboard. I had this with my old MS keyboard a few years back - a day later it stopped recognising key presses altogether. Keyboards are dirt cheap, best bet is to get a new one. You might want to try changing your keyboard language first though, just in case.
