New to this, have Coolsat 5000 and curious as to where to get the updated keys??? Am seeing a lot of threads showing the info and was wondering if you could help me out? Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the info, however little illiterate here. What do you mean by bin file and autoroll??? As I said, I am totally new to this and have noooooooo idea. I have been on TVKEYZ and was lost as to where to even look....I do appreciate your help though.... Thanks again
Install the new bin file. Download the 3 files to your desktop: Pro Loader Factory 100 Bin and Latest version of bin Connect your receiver to your pc with the 9-pin wire that came with your box: Open the loader - click on auto detect and it will tell you if your pc and box are communicating. Should show version installed on your box. Click on browse - go to desktop and select the Factory 100 bin. Click Connect and Start - this will load bin file Click finshed when done. Now do the same for the newest bin: Click on browse - go to desktop and select the lastest bin - 147 right now. Click connect and start - this will load the bin file Click finished when done. Now hook your receiver to your TV: Do a factory reset. Select your language Select autoscan for channels. Choose the same satellite as you used before and start the scan. When finished, exit and save everything. Now sit back and wait for the picture to come on. BE PATIENT - it may take up to 10 minutes. Then follow the instructions.

As for the keys, you can see the keys above I posted from tvkeyz.com There are 2 lines. Divide each line in half. line 86 = line 10 & 11 line 96 = line 20 & 21 You enter the keys for whichever service you use. Dish or Expressvu. To enter the keys, go to channel 8282 to the edit page. To enter numbers use number pad. To enter letters, hit OK to open character menu. When done all lines, exit and save and wait for picture to come back.
just up and running on bin 1.47, all is great ...'cept my channels seem to have jump 1000 places...what was 199 is now 1199...no big deal, they're all there....anyoane have a suggestion as to why? ...Sue, I brand new a week ago as well...between Breck and Billo68...all answers have been supplied...these guys and this site is great! Everything you reguire is posted somewhere in these pages.
Good luck - once you do it once, it will be a piece of cake next time. It's just the day or 2 it takes for the updated bins to come out when they zap the boxes and we have to manually enter the keys.

Hey mudtrout, I did an update on one of my boxes, and when scanning channels, it said 393 channels, but when looking in the guide, I only had about 100 +/-. I did a factory reset in the menu and scanned again and everything worked 2nd time around. Maybe try that and see if it fixes it up.
My dad got his box and it was good for 6 months before he had to update to the new bin. Now we have had to do it I think 3 times in the last 2 months. Ya never know.
R6Girl, are you running the latest bin 147? You'll need it to be stable for a bit...the longest I got with 145 and autoroll off was 5 or 6 hrs. Breck, the factory reset and rescan didn't do it, no big deal...Galaxy stuff is fine...just video and it's all there, it'll be nice to figure it out. if anyone has some input...please post.
