Just spent the last 3 hours trying to flash my dbox. I was trying the FTP method and when i went into "Flash without boot loader" and every time it deleted my flash.img file. In the end i found that i had to call the file flashimage.img for my dbox to recognise it. Now since flashing i have got "Kein System" message and a pretty much dead box. Is there a procedure for reviving a dead dbox? Im Gutted (
Ah your first kein System error, welcome to the darkside lol you need to flash it with image flashing assistant, check my post on page 4 of the dbox thread lower down this page, all guides you need should be there
You didn´t kill your box. You have to use the right image. There are 1x and 2x flash images. Flash it again and your box works.
Thanks mate. I used the 2xl image from ump2002.net but this seemed to screw the box so i've just managed to revive it with another 2xl image and image flashing assistant. Can anyone tell me where i can find the sportster 1.75 UK image as all the ones im downloading either dont work of kill my box.
i can send you the commando 5 image if you want it, it's better than the sportster images, only came out last week.
