The only outage close to me was this http://status-cable.virginmedia.com/vmstatus/serviceissue.do?ticket=734193

Since yesterday every channels become distorted. The Krypt is upto date software wise and have never had a problem with it till now. Did a rescan and lost most channels but have noticed that the signal strength on every messed up channel is 99 its like when it rains heavy when you're watching sky thats the only was I can describe it but constantly.

My BB is not affected though.

    Strange

that to me is your incoming signal, rathur than the actual box, as its seems your signal is to high coming in and thats whats causing the problem, it will settle down, have seen it before when the CC is working in the area

Ok,cheers Mick.I rescanned it again and have got more but not all stable channels some are still all over the place, more than I had before anyway. I think I'll leave it and let it do a powerscan tonight and that should hopefully pick up the missing channels.

If Brantons cronies sort the signal that is.

    Haha

no worries, becuase the signal isnt stable, thats why your missing channels on certain freqs, do a powerscan as you say and see how the signal pans out,
