kryptview 750 how do i connect it up??

    bought this at a market at the weekend. was told all i hav to do is plug it in.

    wher do i put my cable in the back of it?? ther is an rf in and loop out ports at the but my cable wont fit in to either of these. the are a differant fit to the cable imput on my old starview.

    what am i doing wrong?? im a novice. any help much appreciated

    Everything that you need to know to get your box up and running is here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/779888 and you will need to get a cable that screws in to your N*L connection and into the back of the kryptview into the rf in, then you will need to follow these steps courtsey of fergusrb
    1 do a factory default now and nothing eles till that has finished

    2 new screen go to bottom option select auto scan

    3 do not change any settings in here just press the GREEN BUTTON ONLY

    4 next screen you will see legacy channels in here after it has finished above patients on this

    5 press ok when you see the legacy channels nothing else and just leave it ok that should sort you out

    Thats it then you will have all your chanells

    Or if the box is as you say ready to plug in just get yourself the cable for the N*L connection on the wall to the back of the box the type that screw in.

    yeah got it up and running in my friends house. he has a screw in connection. thats a bit crap that u need to get a screw in connect. any idea what ther called and wher u get one?? the starview was much simplier u just put it in cable imput. cheers

    Try B&Q, Maplins or any good hardware shops.
