Does anyone know if its easy to upgrade a Kryptview A750 to a recorder. Can I simply open the casing and slot in a sata drive. I haven't messed with it yet but was thinking about it. Has anyone looked into this. Any suggestions welcome.
Where would you get the firmware? You can connect it to a DVD recorder, thats about it, the box nor firmware is currently set up to record to a external drive.
Hi Mickah, yeah, getting the firmware would be hard. I has seen a site in YUK selling them and wondered how easy it would be to convert mine. I used to have the Eurovox EX5000 PVR and I miss the recording functionality. Haven't got an external recorded. Thanks for the comments though !
@ tempo - replied, Without firmware, its a lost cause. Then you would have to try connect a HD to a box with out a USB, again another hurdle to connect a HD to a box.
