I can't remember on which forum I first read about a problem with the R/C with the Kryptview A750 however I'll through it out here & see what feedback I get,...the problems are sluggish or no responce from the remote, only responds on the 2nd or 3rd press, very firm pressure needs to be applied to the bottons to get a responce,....anyone else witness this problem ???

Pity,..I have one of those learning remotes that you point at the R/C you want to duplicate, it copies each key function 1 for 1,...the original R/C is quite annoying

i think you can put up with the hard remote it will loosen out after a while if you use it enough i think a working box would be more important than worrying about a remote at least you can watch tv unlike others that have starviews etc

What's the story with this 'learning remote'? Can you buy one of these to replace the current Kryptview remote?

I won't say a bad word about the KV, I love it. I've got my channels, the KV box itself is deadly, the EPG & option to jump from category to category is excellent .... buuuuuuuut ... the remote is very slow to respond. I've been using it flat out now for the last 2 - 3 weeks and it's not getting any better.

I can live with it but if anyone has any suggestions for a way to improve/replace the KV remote please let me know, thanks.

I use a CHUNGHOP learning remote, how it works is,..you point it at the remote you want to duplicate & each time you press a button on the that remote the learning remote copies the IR pulse & you can assign that function to any button on the learning remote, there are others like the one in the link but thats the one I have.NOTE there are some buttons on the KV remote which are not on the learning unit such as EPG & BACK but it does have a button called DISPLAY & REVERSE which I used for those functions, smoooooth as silk compaired to the KV joke of a remote,...great box though.

i think the remote is a small price to pay to have all your channels back 100% is it not i would be more concerned if i had a blank screen on most of the good channels

agreed,.. but your reasoning is only valid here in Ireland, folk in the UK have a choice of far better boxes, the picture quality is quite soft as well. all I can say is roll on the "cryptoscram 007 " ;-)

plenty of adjustments for you to adjust in the settings

as with regard to Uk yes they do but they dont got what we got and that's N2 so when they do or even worse than N2 IPTV they will be actually worse of than us so count all the Irish lucky ;)

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is a system where a digital television service is delivered using Internet Protocol over a network infrastructure, which may include delivery by a broadband connection. A general definition of IPTV is television content that, instead of being delivered through traditional broadcast and cable formats, is received by the viewer through the technologies used for computer networks. For residential users, IPTV is often provided in conjunction with Video on Demand and may be bundled with Internet services such as Web access and VoIP. The commercial bundling of IPTV, VoIP and Internet access is referred to as "Triple Play" service (when these three are offered with mobility, the service is referred to as "Quadruple Play"). IPTV is typically supplied by a service provider using a closed network infrastructure. This closed network approach is in competition with the delivery of TV content over the public Internet, called Internet Television. In businesses, IPTV may be used to deliver television content over corporate LANs.

I'll assume you pasted in the IPTV stuff by mistake,...it happens,
whats the betting that once v***in media introduce n2 in the UK all the other boxes will have a fix quickly,..apart from the KV support crew the others did'nt care about the paddy's.

The IPTV system is not secure either, it's been in use in the US & the crypto geeks are finding many ways around that system to,...if there's a shilling to be made someone will nail it.
