I've recently recieved my Kryptview A780 box yesterday installed the latest september software and when it came to the scan part which looks like this everything is fine apart from my area Bradford does not show up so then i clicked on Leeds and i'm missing quiet a few channels also as you can see there's a red button on your right but when i'm doing the network scan where is the red button gone because i want to do a full network scan coz then maybe it'll pick up the Bradford I.D can any1 help me a.s.a.p i've also choosen my correct network which is TW thanks.
"most of them channels are back on now" when scanning it should be "NETWORK [OK]" = your area or closest 1 to you, and below it should be CHANNEL SEARCH TYPE = NETWORK here is a guide and at the bottom is all the areas and net id's make sure you do a factory reset first
Get your providers box and get the Net Id from that then you will have the correct one and your missing channels should show up then
Hi I have had some channels missing for a while now, itv1 and channel4 I have not had for a month, even though they are always listed? plus the living channels go missing every few days is there a way to scan the missing channels individually? thx guys
put the box in standby, the autoscan will pick any chans up, no need to manual scan using the krypt, leave it in standby for about 30 mins or so
I got one of these here boxes of Santa yesterday, followed all the instructions and had access to a number of channels. Still alot of channels were not working inc ESPN. I left the box on standby over night and work up this morning to find that I have now lost all the movie channels. Are these boxes reliable? Have I missed something?? Any help wopuld be greatfully received.
Sounds like you have scanned using wrong NET-ID for your area. Look in menu on Prov. box to find correct NET-ID. Disconnect LAN-cable from box while scanning. Do a Fac-reset & re-scan using correct NET-ID. If you are not sure of NET-ID try diff. ID's close to your area. Read earlier posts on this thread to make sure you are following correct procedure. These boxes are as reliable as people using them or servers connecting them Have a look here for NET-ID listings, it may not be same as your postal address but should be area near to yours, e.g. Some Wembley areas come under Ealing net-id http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-59/kryptview_updating_scanning_tutorial-855010/
Hi, I have no access to loads of channels including Sky sports 1,2 3, & 4. Tried changing network ID's, stanby etc etc, no luck as yet. Just assuming Portsmouth area does not work properly.
Get the correct net id from your subscribed box then you will know what to be scanning on you also need to be on your correct provider when scanning so before you went to virgin use who ever you where with first
