Hi all, Im new to this forum. I bought a KryptView Arnet and i havnt a clue how to get it set up, Im not sure if it works in Ireland. I live in dublin. Any help or ideas? regards emlyn

Not my work, dont claim credit for it, follow it to the letter. The Kryptview wont work on Chorus MMDS!!! IF YOU GOTO INSTALL AND AUTO SCAN IT WILL FIND ONLY 6TP'S,YOU THEN TUNE THEM AND IT WILL FIND ABOUT 15/20 CHLS.THIS IS WHAT IT DOES ALL THE TIME SO A WASTE REALLY. THE ONLY WAY I FIND IT WILL TUNE IS A S FOLLOWS: 1.GOTO TO INSTALL 2.GOTO AUTO SCAN 3.PRESS YELLOW FOR TP SEARCH ON NETWORK IT WILL BRING YOU TO THE MANUAL SETUP SCREEN 4. ENTER 291,000 HERE AND OK THEN EXIT BACK TO INSTALL IT WILL FIND 7 TP'S NOW INSTEAD OF 6 THIS WILL BE DONE WHEN IN THE MANUAL SCREEN 5.NOW PRESS EXIT WHEN FINISHED AND THEN START AGAIN. 6.THIS TIME GOTO AUTO AND PRESS GREEN BUTTON SEARCH AND IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 30 SECS AND NOW SHOW A NEW TP IN THE LIST[00]4275300 THIS FREQ IN HIGH LIGHTED IN ORANGE, 7.NOW PRESS OK AND IT WILL BEGIN TO LOAD TP'S WHEN THIS IS DONE IT WILL THEN LOAD THE CHANNELS AND THATS IT DONE.oh make sure you leave it on sly sports news or or sly news and it Will lock in.
The Kryptviews work fine in Dublin...my friend has one and I set this up for him. Do a factory reset then choose NTL as the network and search type 'network' and press the green button I think (sorry, don't have one in front of me at the mo). This should do a TP search. It should find 19 TPs afterwhich it will search these TPs for a channels. There really shouldn't be too much hassle with setting it up. Any more problems let me know. Have to say the Arnets are a great box. Prob the best looking OSD out of all the ones I've used so far.
hey lads i tried what you said but no joy any other ideas. its pv 1.0.00 software is that write or should i updaye from the net or somting.
Hi can anyone help with this one ?? Got a kryptview box that works fine but all the channels on 538.750 (bravo,trouble etc) freeze up all the time can this be fixed ??
Do a google search for satdownloads and pop a dot co dot uk on the end, if you catch my drift. Go and get the latest software from there. Latest was released on 9th Jan. Take it from me, that's where you're likely to get the latest version of the software ... they have a 'software feed back and bug reporting' thread for a reason ;-) But then, once you've got the latest software, follow the detailed installation instructions. More often than not issues can arise if you don't flash the box correctly. You either have to have the box turned off (at the wall), begin the download, then turn it on OR ... another way which is more of a pain and I won't detail here. However, if you simply flash the box while it's on, then you can get corruption and it won't scan properly. So ... get the latest software and flash as detailed above. It should scan fine then.
