I recently got 2 Kryptview Arnet boxes, When I try to do a auto scan my cable provider (smallworld) is not on the list. Ihave into tp edit and renamed the telewest channel smallworld and entered all the channel frequency's e.t.c. and performed a auto scan, the boxes are now detecting the channels that are there but when I select an encrypted channel I get the message 'scrambled or no video'. I have tried leaving it on sky sports 1 overnight, changing up and down the channels and switching the box off for a 1/2 hr then switching it back on again but still not getting the encrypted channels. Someone on another forum reckons that due to my box not being pre-programmed with the smallworld codes e.t.c. that it is not switching the EMU on. Does anyone know how to get these boxes going in my area Irvine, Ayrshire. Thanks in advance, P.S. I dont know if this matters or not, but when I got to the page where I select my net ID the only one on the list is 42650 whereas the one I was told that it was is 42648 does this matter, if so how can I change it.
I have since discovered that it would need the provider ID added to emu settings in the firmware, does anyone know how to do this, Is the provider ID the same as the net ID, if so which one should I be entering the one sent to me (42648) or the one that comes up on the autoscan (42650). Thanks
