Hi Just recieved the new SV 7. It seems as though there is no LAN port on the back of the box. I have had all the older boxes in the past but upgraded to this due to the NAV encryption. I was under the impression this box needed to be connected to my broadband to work. Is this correct or not. Cheers.

if this box does not have a lan port, but a dongle then I'm assuming it is wireless is that right? how else does this box connect to the cs? because having bought a kv and having watched the eye tiring picture quality im inclined to buy an sv box, which is cheaper than a kv box.

no not wireless you have to ethernet to dongle same as you would if the lan port was inbuilt
