Hi Guys, I recently got a kryptview and notice that it doesn't have a cable input part on the back like the starview box has! I'm not sure now where I can connect the tv cable to on the back of it so I can get a signal and scan in the channels. Can anybody help on this because the cable doesn't seem to fit anywhere on back? Thanks guys
the cable connection on the kryptview is the screw in type.im sure you could get a converter in powercity or sumtin.only a couple of euro
you`ll need an RF Converter, female one end, male the other end. you`ll get this in woodies, maplins etc for around €2 as said above.
hmm wonder how many people gonna be caught out aswell lol,box is made for uk market which use screw connectors or f connectors and no batteries supplied lol.
I have KYPTVIEW up and running bought fittings in local hardware . If I need to change key codes is there a secert menu like starview
just buy a RF cable with the screw end on both ends, job done, powercity, 3 quid, most nthell connections are the screw in type, depnding on the age of the box on the wall.
Hi recently bought kryptview but they sent me wrong cable to connect it to computer does anyone know where i can get one and what cable i need???
You need a null modem cable. It is pictured in the link below http://www.hermann-uwe.de/files/images/null_modem_cable.preview.jpg You will get one in Maplins or peats but will pay more for it there as opposed to ordering it off the internet.
