hi all been a long time since my last post im still using kryptview 780 im not getting any channels all scrambled tried software update but all its saying is searching for update can anyone please advice thanks
it would have been better posting your firmware date to see if still current ,is box connected to lan

ok current software is good ,no reports anywhere of issues so thinking it local or your non connection to network,have you tried powering off box and router to see if it fixes it,check lan is flashing green at rear.
green light is flashing at rear will try to turn router of and on later on don't think there is a local connection problem been like that for a week
yes I am through home plugs decided to plug box in living room straight into router tried software update came up with already updated which makes sense but channels scrambled so I did a auto search left it till it finished and guess what all back on thanks cactikid for your time cheers mate
Hi there sorry to jump in on the conversation but my friend had a A780 in the cupboard so I put the latest software on for him via null modem cable 20/01/2015 and all went well but when he has set it up the H/W version is V3.0.0 how do I update this as it wont do it via internet connection it just sits on searching and does nothing!! thanks in advance...
you cant as box has to be manually flashed with null modem cable and image and box reboots when finished=faulty flash or selected wrong image.
thanks for the swift reply cactikid I did flash it manually with null modem but it still has old H/W 3.0.0 so it wont even look for channels, do you have a link for the latest update? any help would be appreciated...

yes I downloaded it again and re flashed its all good now, I'm looking to get a zgemma star H1 is it the best to get and if so is there a tutorial to get it up and running, thanks again.
there are better boxes than zgemma if funds available,i did a thread earlier on cable boxes with a list of boxes.
I don't mind spending a bit extra mate if it is going to be worth it, just seems to be a lot of them zgemma boxes flying around my way, what do you recommend and can you point me in the right direction how to set it up, cheers.
Box down here in southern England Home Counties area for the last 2 days, anyone else with the same problem? Have tried to update both boxes, normally I would get a message 'already updated' but they have both been left to update for an hour and both have not moved in that they show 0% 'updated' so I have just both exited them and left maybe no footie for a few days over festive period!
Ok will wait patiently and hope all is back up and running, not up to speed with all this tech, so enlighten if you would for a back up source......not sly subscription lol
