    hey guys,
got my a*net kr*ptview today, also got the rs232 cable and a usb adaptor,
i tried to flash it with the firmware but got the error message downloading is not requested, checked the port settings, set to 1 in device manager, and the correct bitrate, pressed the start button in the kryptview loader and then plugged it in, no joy, also tried the method involving the red-red-standby buttons on the remote but still no joy, been using a laptop, well 2 different ones! i have a mac so don't think i can do it with that!
    Any suggestions please?

Is the RS232 that you have a Null modem cable? or just an RS232.
