This maybe a very silly question, but the RF-In connection on the back of the Kryptview has a "screw cap" female top, but my cable lead has just a smooth connector male. How do I get around this? Do I need another connection? if so what is it called? Thanks
this is the connector type you need for the box F Plug to Coax SocketAdaptor http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Modu...&C=SO&U=strat15 or below is cheaper http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/catalog.cgi...id=157&scid=530 [ + quote] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- all for Kryptview below only LOADER SOFTWARE
If called an f connector, you can buy an adapter for baout 1-2euro you need the bottom one here any hardware of power city/maplin/peats should have them If they dont just get a new cable from the provider box on your wall to the box something like this can be picked up anywhere(even woodies)
sorry cathaldub ur right make sure u buy in a store like woodies powercity maplens or peats if your stuck an in dublin i have a few left
Guys many thanks for your replies. I was all ready to go last night, then I hit a brick wall when I tried to pop in the cable, it was different from that which was on the back of the E/V box
http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/page7.htm try this or buy the bottom picture lead with a double screw in connector on both ends for 3 eeuro from p***r c++y they have loads of them
