kryptview,starview and internet dongle

Could I use the kryptview and starview boxes with a internet dongle if the answer yes, what meg would I need or would it be easier using my virgin broadband with those boxes and finally what is the chance of getting caught using virgin bb or say a orange dongle , could my ip address be tracked by using virgin bb or a dongle ? Advice would be appreciated thanks kingplfc

 

you can use a dongle but you will need the hub for the dongle to go into it proper broadband is the way to go but if that is all you have try it i know it does work but if your signal drops off so will your viewing

 

I also have virgin broadband, what ip provider do you use e45

 

if you have virgin use that then simple

 

E45 just points at his equipment and they work, talking cable boxs mind, just in case there is any confusion

im havin trouble tryin to install software onto kv780, i got no laptop/pc with serial port
i just recieved a rs232 but cant install software onto my vista laptop, i tried the tutorial for vista but no joy, can anyone help arrrrrgh or does anyone live in the north west of eng wh can update for me ha

 

has the box been flashed before? If so you can do it via the menu and online, if it hasnt, get a normal PC with XP on it and do it on that, saves all the hassles with drivers on laptops, vista etc
