Hi. I have a 796MB .avi - DVDRip KVCD folder on my com and I can't get sound when I play it on computer.
In the folder there is a 706MB KVCD.bin PowerISO file and a 178bytes KVCD.cue Image files.
    Only plays in VLC ( I have v 0.9.4)
Last night I was reading on this Forum about converting .avi to dvd and there is a post about KV and having to make two folders from it, one for sound and one for movie. Seems to be a lengthy process and I can't find the posts/threads on the subject now.

I've just played the ISO through VLC again and clicked Audio > Audio Track and noticed that it is ticked to play/use 'Track 1', no sound on Track 1. Choose 'Track 2' and have sound. Sweet. Eliminates the "no sound" question.

Another question: If I use ImgBurn or PowerISO or any other program that addresses burning disc images to ccreate a CD from the ISO file as it i, will I get the sound when played back on a stand alone DVD player?(it is a .bin / PowerISO image).

I was going to convert the .avi to DVD PAL MPEG2, only because 2 years ago (mate wanted some editing done and it was /is new to me) I used Win XP Pro SP3 Movie Maker 2 to import/editthe clips from his DV Camcorder and the resultant .avi that was produced and sent to disc didn't play in his stand alone DVD player. Played on computer only. I had to convert the .avi to mpeg2 to get it to play.
Maybe his machine didn't recognise VCD or SVCD discs.
I haven't had much to do with .avi, mostly I have used DVD Decrypter or Fab Platinum 4/5 Pro.

I guess I could do a burn and see if it plays and has sound.
