I have a movie on my hard drive with the word KVCD in it that uses VLC media player to watch it.

I am wanting to burn it onto DVD or CD. Its 789MB so I dont think it wont fit onto 700MB CD-R, therefore I will burn it onto a DVD-R.

I have PowerProducer3 but that doesnt seem to recognise it, I also have the VLC media player and can watch it on my PC but how do I burn?

If you just want to keep the file as is. Then just burn the file as data with any burning application like Nero or Roxio.

    :)

you can use Nero Burning Rom to burn the KVCD

Uncheck Create a standard Compliant Cd

and then burn like you would normal burn a VCD
once you're done you should be able to play it in any standard DVD player
