I've been to blockbuster (actually tw0 differant stores about every other day looking for games to rent pref. call of duty 2 they are always on rent. usually the only game or games available are golf or soccer or some other sorry sports game, yet i look at ps2 and xbox selections on any given title also for the 360 and they have at least 10 - 15 copies available to rent. king kong for 360-1 copy king kong for xbox-10 copies, king kong for ps2-15 copies, Gun 360-2 copies Gun ps2-10 copies Gun xbox-10 copies see the pattern. I asked the employee today what was up that and he said because the games are so hard to get ahold of????? Any info how and why this is other than the big answer "M$" is what i'm lookin for And for a system thats suppost to the the next gen system they got alot of the same games the OLD systems are running????? SOOOOOO Glad i didn't pay for my Xbox 360 Thanks Mt. Dew ( now i can save my money for my PS3)
The 360 just came out, what do you expect? You expect them to have like 30 copies of all the games? If you do your f***ing stupid.
no just more than 1 or 2 copies if there always on rent since release of system and you have people asking for a copy. MMMMMM..... maybe we should add more the the availablity Supply and demand (last time i looked blockbuster was a business too.)
They don't have many copies because the 360 games cost more and there are FAR fewer people who have a 360. If it's such a problem for you, just go buy a game with all that money you saved, foolio.
Oh MY GOD!!! you [bold]are[/bold] a cheap SOB!! What do you expect? It's always that way with popular new games & especially on a brand new system. Gets the system free & has the nerve to complain about Blockbuster not having enough 360 rentals. It's going to be the same thing for the PS3
besides, it's 7.99 to rent at blockbuster, i can rent 360 games at the grocery store for under 2 bucks. they have the same amount of actuall titles and discs as BB.
GUYS... its not that im cheap, i'm sony supporter. i do not own an xbox and had no intention of buying a xbox360 now or did i ever . hence the reason i entered the mt dew contest ( that and i already drink tons of mt dew) blockbuster just has the best rental option, for the money. yah it's $7.99 for a 5 day rental then you get a 7 day grace period before its late. SOOOO for $8.00 i get the for almost two weeks. I was starting this forum to see if any body was in that industry would know why there was a lack of support or what looked like a lack of support. besides i rent all my games before i by no matter the system or game.
beacause it's still close to launch week, and blockbuster always keeps a small amount of launch titles or whatever, not to mention the amount of x360 owners in a specific city is only maybe like 50-100 as opposed to xbox or ps2 which is like 5000.
Give Hollywood Video a try if you have those in your area. BB didn't have games in my area for 3 weeks after launch. I kept calling them everyday. Come to find out Hollywood had them the day it launched and have a bigger selection. regards Shep
Well, I got my 360 via Mt. Dew. And I havent even bothered with any 360 games besides CoD 2. I rented it at Block Buster. My Hollywood Video is sooooooooo overpriced and has like nothing. I just stick to playing Halo 2 and Counterstrike.
