Laptop and its RAM HELP!!!!

    I was just wondering how to change my ram on my laptop. I have a toshiba sattelite with intel mobile technology chip ( if there is any info i need to give plzzz ask) WHat do I do is there anyone that can help me with me problem

    well i wouldnt really recommend it, since it voids your waruntee and you have to have some knowlege about them...

    But, you have to unscrew the bottem, and then just slide the ram in and thats it! Just make sure you have the right kind.

    Yeah it is that simple, but you need the correct part to work with the laptop. So a Model of the laptop would be best place to start finding the manual.

    Upgrading RAM voids your warranty? WOW, what do they expect people to do? Send it in for a upgrade?

    well on a laptop it does. Not sure on a dekstop though... It voids it on a laptop because you have to take off the whole back plate, which can sometimes be very confusing, and then if you dont put it back on the exact right way, then you can have problems.

    No you don't, you only need take one cover off the back, and with Satellites that's easy. It may still void your warranty though.
