i was given a dell inspiron 1100... the battery life is kinda low... all i want it for is playing on the internet and to run DVD's when i travel in the car or on an airplane....

i was looking for a battery online and came across this site...

    http://www.batteryrefill.com/laptops/dell/Inspiron_1100.phtml?gclid=CPbkiPv0s4kCFSSVYAodWW5TNQ

I looked online found that dell still makes these batteries but everyone I know will try and find something cheaper if they can... i would like to find something cheaper but not if will compromise performance...

    Are aftermarket batteries junk?
    Is refilling a battery possible?
should i stick with original Dell?

I'm also n the market for a new keyboard for my dell desktop... the volume controls are nice... and i have seen there are some keyboards with a USB slot right on the keyboard...

    Any suggestions?

Some aftermarket batteries are junk so i would be careful of what ones you buy. But if i were you i would stick to original Dell Desktop batteries.

I have a ACER Laptop my batterie has about 35-45 minutes on it because its becoming junk and im going to buy a ACER Original Laptop batterie for it again. Only because i dont want to buy a cheap aftermarket one and only have 40-50 minutes on it because it wouldn't make scence to spend like 100 more bucks for 5-10 more minutes.

    I hope i helped.

first before buying a new battery

turn on your laptop and boot into bios

    thats usually the f2 button

leave the laptop to go flat and turn off

this conditions the battery and will usually double it's useable time
