laptop code 10 error

    ive tried everything to get sound to work on my laptop it did work until i installed win xp pro sp2 since then no joy ive disabled modem and printer ports ive tried ms hotfix changed the permission rights through regedit still no joy i have a geriom smartpower laptop anyone help please

    Have you got a CD to reinstall the sound driver with?

    Have a look through this site and see if you can find the driver.
    You may need to register to get the driver, but it's free to do so, and in the years I've been registered I've never been bugged with ads etc.
