laptop display black and white on tv

    hope you can help when i conect my laptop to tv it displays the laptops screen in black and white. im using a s video out and s video lead. ive changed tv settings to pal and ntsc but no luck, any ideas? thanks

    I had this problem a long time ago b/c I hook up my laptop to my TV a lot through S-Video (before I got a TV with VGA) and I updated my video card drivers and that fixed the problem with me. Try that, hope it works out for you.
