I have an emachine M6809 (AMD 64 3000 with radeon mobility 9600 video) and earlier tonight it was working fine. I get to work and turn it on and the display is dimmed out. It is about half as bright as it was an hour ago. I cant figure out how to get the display bright again. ANy help would be greatly appreciated!
justa small question but is your battery low? if your not plugged in then your screen will dim to conserve battery power.
Nope, she is plugged in. I tried going safe mode, uninstalling the driver, and rebooting...no help. I am trying to download the current driver from ATI but for some reason it wont download (I am using a different computer to download).
