laptop internet problems

i have a friends laptop & for some reason the internet stop working on it i hit repair & when done done a window pops up windows could not complete action cause renewing your address , ic it saids address type ...automatic pivate address
it has SMC networks ez connect g card

 

still trying to figure this out

 

Has it ever worked on your home network?

 

this is a friend laptop & she said it was working fine the other day & it just suddenly went offline & she couldnt get it back on the internet cause of the ip address,
i have a laptop that im using now & no problem so i would say the problem is in her laptop i think . i need some suggestions on what to do
