laptop processor upgrade

    i have a hp dv2615us.

    it has a T5250 processor.

    i am looking for a list of processors that i can upgrade to.

    can anyone help?

    That chip has a 667fsb, socket P, and used 35w...the best chip that will fit those specs is the Core 2 Duo T5850...the Core 2 Duo T5750, Core 2 Duo T5750, and Core 2 Duo T5550 should also work.

    A tip for upgrading laptop CPUs: the cooler is usualy shared between the CPU & GPU...so you will need new thermal grease (arctic silver is a good option), and also a new thermal pad for the GPU (not a grease, a pad like http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6..._Pads_for_Stealth_8800_Series_VGA_Block.html)
