laptop screen flashes white

    I own a fujitsu siemens amilo li 2727 laptop and the screen flashes white.

    I tried it through an external monitor and the flashing does not occur on the monitor but it continues on my laptop screen.

    I also tried f2 at start up and the screen flickers throughout.

    Any help would be most appreciated.

    as it does not do it on external monitor but only on laptop screen then laptop screen needs to be replaced.
