    Good evening,

In the past couple of days my laptop has really began to run very slow. I have had a good sort out, cleared up my desktop and completed a full AVG anti-virus scan and a Registry Mechanic scan. I have cleared up a few things but found no serious problems, the computer however continues to run very slowly.

I have also noticed that the sound (windows startup chimes etc.) stutters frequenty. I am running XP.

I have completed a Malwarebytes' scan and attached the report below, along with a Hijackthis report.

I hope that this is enough for anyone to point out any issues.

Many thanks in advance for all your help!

    Cheers

    Dave

Try restoring your pc to a previouse time where everything worked, or if you have recently installed something just before your pc started acting up, remove it and see if that does anything.
