I have a Toshiba Satellite L305D Series and was wondering what the temperature should be at. The laptop is only 4 months old and I do not know what the temperature was prior to now. I got a program called Hardware Monitor and it says the following. These are the results with a new chilling pad I bought (Which has 2 fans and says it cools down the laptop).. Dunno if it works well.

THZN: 60 Degrees Celcius (I don't know what THZN means but I guess overall core temp?)

    AMD Turion X2
Core #0: 60-70 Degree Celsius average
Core #1: 60-70 Degree Celsius average

    HDD NAME
HDD: Stays at 40 Degrees Celcious.

Anyone have any ideas or can you tell me your temperatures of your laptops so I know the average temperature?

    Thanks.

70C is way too high for idle.

Whoops, thats with about 12 Tabs open in firefox, one antivirus program, msn messenger, and standard services such as wifi, touchpad, Wireless mouse, and cooling fan plugged into the usb port. Lots of things were open I should probably see what it is at with everything closed.

right now its about 61 degrees Celsius.
