Hi, I was wondering if there is a tutorial out there to create the adapter so i can plug my laptop hard drive into a pc, im too cheap to order it on the net thanx for response, mcphail
if talking about the actual laptop hd than get a 2.5" external usb case as i use 1 for my 40gig wd laptop hd on customers' computers. they are about $30 & can get them at computer stores.
thx, but i dont have $600 ($30 american ) atm, lol i know there are adaptors avail. too, that convert laptop ide to desktop ide style, i was just just wondering if anyone knew how to make it, so i dont have to go buy it.
might cost you $5-10 to buy that adapter but might cost more for the parts as i have 1 of those adapters. the pins on the laptop hd is smaller in dimensions than a regular ide connector.
i was reading this and looked up at the add up top and it was for what you need for very cheap. http://www.buyextras.com/seataad.html
