laptop to projector gives black screen within media player frame.

    Laptop to projector gives black screen within media player frame. Powerpoint slides work OK. What am I doing wrong? Connections tried are VGA cable, svs cable and usb, neither gives picture. Methinks its a set up problem. Anyone got an answer? THanks folks.

    i'm having the same problem, tried lots of different cables, havent found a solution yet.

    I have the same issue with my Dell D610 when viewing my monitor connected thru the Dock.

    hi folks, a mate cured the prob. Seems its as simple as pressing Alt/Function F8 and F5. in right combination. Nothing more. Ooh I hate it when its that easy. Thanks all. Sauron
