Okay, so when recording for only a 4 minute video, why is the file size so large, like 60 MB? Another 1 minute video that i recorded was about 14MB. Why are these file sizes so large? Im assuming that its because its recorded in .AVI format and thats an old compression method if "compression" at all. But yeah, does anyone know whats up? or if they know how to reduce file size but not length?

    Thanks in advance.

    Recording to what?

Depending on the output type it could be huge.
It could be uncompressed, it could be lossless compression,
    lossy, etc,etc.

Since you neglected to mention the details of what you are doing and how, I can't give a more specific answer.
