Has anyone heard anything lately about the laser technology that was supposed to be out by the end of this year? I've been waiting until the laser TVs come out before I buy a new one, seeing as they are supposed to be half the price and twice as good on the picture quality. Thanks, Carl
It does exist but there are no current plans for mass production by any major brand. Although Samsung and Mitsubishi have shown an interest. Even if they did show up it will take a few generations to get right. The Plasmas and LCDs of today (actually all the various technologies) are much different and vastly improved over the early, first generation models.
