I tryed ur post and no luck for me what am i doing wrong? Re: I was able to copy Avatar just using DvdShrink. Don't open the disc, just do a re-author and grab title 11. I did that and no luck. can you you HElp me? thanks guys
It doesn't help if this is your only post here regarding what has been done. What programs besides shrink are you using or have tried? What steps have you taken to try to copy the movie? The movie Avatar is not the same as the movie "The Last Airbender", if the previous poster was referring to the cartoon series, it would make better sense. Answer the questions and you might find better answers or responses.
Duh! It’s Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender! The post WAS correct. Shrink processed it, but the 1st playback resulted in the “Invalid Nav Structure” error too. Switched to ‘PowerDVD’ and it played fine. Fab will update within a few more days.
Try new anydvd. AnyDVD History 6.7.2.0 2010 11 15 - New (DVD): Added support for new protections, e.g. "The Last Airbender", US - New (Blu-ray): Added support for new BD+ protections, e.g. "Knight and Day", "Avatar Extended Edition" - New (Blu-ray): Updated decryption keys - New: Improved system information log - Fix (DVD): AI scanner did not copy all content with some discs - Some minor fixes and improvements - Updated languages - Important: This version will only work, if you own a valid registration key http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html
Avatar: The Last Airbender is a cartoon, not a movie. The name "Avatar" cannot be used in the name due to copyright infringement on behalf of James Camerons movie "Avatar" which is why I pointed out the difference. The name of the movie based on the cartoon does not use the word Avatar. In regards to the Invalid Nav Structure, have you gone through the shrink settings to recreate a new logical restructure of the files?
I have been having problems since yesterday. I tried just about every combination of DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, RipIt4Me, AnyDVD 6.7.2.0, DVDFab 8.0.4.0, and CloneDVD 2.9.2.7. Possible Solution: Standalone movie: AnyDVD 6.7.2.0 + DVD Decrypter in IFO mode. Movie + Menus: AnyDVD 6.7.2.0 + Built in AnyDVD DVD decrypter (right click on AnyDVD icon in system tray and select "Rip Video DVD to Harddisk...") I was almost able to get the movie to backup properly. About 2/3 of the way through the movie the picture got pixelated. Definitely still some sort of copy protection on the backup. Anyone figure this problem out yet?
This Will Work: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVDFab_Decrypter Version history: November 18, 2010 DVDFab 8.0.5.0 Updated! * New: Updated language files. * New: Some minor changes and improvements. * New: Added "Blu-ray 3D Ripper" option. * "Blu-ray 3D Ripper" option converts Blu-ray 3D title to left/right (side-by-side) or top/bottom MKV/MP4/AVI/WMV files which can be played on 3D display device. DVD Copy: * New: Added support for a new copy protection as found on "The Last Airbender" (US). HD Decrypter user need wait for future update to support the new protection. Blu-ray Copy: * New: Added support for BD+ generation 9. For now they are "Knight and Day" and "Avatar: Extended Collector's Edition". * New: Added support for AACS MKB v20. Blu-ray to DVD Converter: * Fix: A/V sync problem when converting certain NTSC Blu-ray discs.
The new DVDFAB worked for ripping the movie ran it though FixVTS however when I get into DVD shrink it shows (4) main titles 25 / 42 / 45 / 73 each only 6 - 11 minutes in duration? It looks like 42 and 45 are parts of the movie - 25 is a behind the scenes and 73 is previews...
Sounds like there seems to be a problem with the logical remapping used by the program. Perhaps the copy protections on these dvd's have finally improved.
I still have to watch the whole movie to confirm 100%, but I am very certain that this method works: Double Rip using AnyDVD 1. Load AnyDVD 6.7.2.0 2. Right click on the icon in the system tray and select: "Rip to Image..." 3. Let AnyDVD do it's thing. 4. Mount the image using a mounting software. I used Alcohol 120% 1.9.5.4521. I am sure that Daemon Tools or SlySoft's Virtual CloneDrive will work as well. 5. Let AnyDVD load the image to further remove the copy protection. 6. Right click on the icon in the system tray and select: "Rip Video DVD to Harddisk..." 7. Files get ripped and movie is backed up. DONE. So far I have had no problem skimming though the movie through my computer DVD playing software and I have loaded the ripped files into DVD Shrink no problem. Hope this works for everyone else.
The Last Airbender was easily done with AnyDVD. I just did movie only no compression with Nero Recode. Watched it today. Seen better movies but it played flawlessly.
I figured it out...download and install dvdfab 8.0.5.0 from here...http://letitbit.net/download/00286....8a4fc4/DVDFab_Portable_8.0.5.0_Multi.rar.html (chose the regular download) once installed, select 'customize' and select everything. copy then burn. your all set! the entire DVD is yours
Worked fine for me, but DVDFab did ask if I wanted to upgrade when I opened it and I did. I had major concerns when I saw the Shrink analysis and it showed less than a gig for the main movie and over 3 gig for the extras. Still, it burned fine and I never got an error. The movie appears to play, but then I also had concerns when it showed the movie only having 11 chapters, but web searches show that to apparently be correct.
Garmon, I also had no problem, just give slysoft a couple of days and they always figure it out, mine plays with no audio or video problems.
