Just a question question. I've had a Starview for ages and have been updated it over time. Can anyone remember what the last firmware to properly to Widescreen was, i.e. one a widescreen production my widescreen TV shows everything AND on non-widescreen stuff like MTV it would scretch it? Was it 2.55? If i was to make a note of the 2 keys, put on 2.55, would that work? Regards PS: Great forum, no search option so couldn't find answer to above!
2.55 is an OLD version , and im not sure there was a fix for widescreen on the Starvi*w firmware as there was with the Eurov0x. And you can find the SEARCH BAR up the top of the page below all the tabs
Cheers for that, didn't see it. There was a firmware that did everything properly, i'll probabily try all the old ones out!
Hi, Did you ever manage to find the software to support widescreen? It would be nice to watch the santa channels in true widescreen and not the stretched view as it is on my SV3.
