Hello, I and my brother in law both have an xbox with an X-ecuter lite chip in it. My xbox was one of the earlier versions (v1.0) and his was a little bit later (v1.2 or so). My backupped games play with no problem at all, but when I try them on his xbox, they play very choppy, like he has problems reading the disc. What I don't understand is that with all the older games he never had any problems. The problems appeared about 6 months ago. I already deleted all the cache (almost nothing). So my guess is it's his DVD-drive, but why do the other (older) games work perfectly?
It's not one of the latest bios, but it's certainly not a very old version. Besides, my bios is older then his and I do not have those problems. I checked today what dvd-drive was in his xbox and it's a Philips. Are these drives known to be difficult with reading backups?
