    Hey everybody!

First off, thanks for all the help already in the instructions to update my box!

However, I still have a problem.

I have a Starview 2, The Box and updated to the 4.57 firmware. I carried out an automatic scan for channels and 183 were found. When I exit from the menu to any channel I get a message saying "data being updated - 0%".

I had a search through the forum and it has been suggested I go into the 1570 menu, turn emu on and I clicked on "set default key". I exited to Sky 2 (I'm in Ireland) and waited to see if there was any change. The data does not update and stays at 0%.

Anybody have any idea what I am doing wrong or if there is anything else I can do? Thank you in advance!

    Menu > 1570
    turn key emu on
go to set default key > press ok
    Exit to s*y two
Turn the b0x off at the back for about 20 secs, turn back on & let it update.

Stumble, what steps exactly did you do? When I tried the steps above, it just stayed at 0% forever.

The reason your b0x wont update is because you need to update the firmware. What b0x have you got?

    Hello noelyf,
Thank you for your information here – but – I have this problem on 2 boxes (TheBox) which I upgraded to 4.57. I have tried all sequences that I can think of and yet it stays at 0%. I can of course insert the c***s manually but it would be nice to know that AU will work if,and when, they roll again!

Try and find a channel with a high freq - bbc1, s*y movie channels etc & it should kick in eventually.

    Or try this,
menu > 1570, turn emu off
Set default key > press ok, exit to s*y 2
    wait about 5 secs
Go back into the cas menu & turn emu on > exit back out.
    Wait for it to update.

I just did pretty much what I said in the first post, along with restoring factory settings and doing an automatic scan again.

Wasn't updating at all two hours after doing the automatic scan, was still stuck on 0%. Left it about another 2 hours and when I tried the box again it was working! Sorry I can't help anymore!

You need to flash the b0x with the latest firmware.
