Hi everyone, just a quick question,
Can you point me to the best way of soft modding a wii on 4.3e. i have seen letterbox and modwii but there is a warning about something to do with nus servers being closed so i am worried its out of date

Can ppl point me to the direction of a good guide that they have used and works, i want to be able to play backup discs i have and off a hard drive if possible

    thanks in advance

This person saved my life by posting this below - thanks jammy jam- as when u run bootmii without editing the bootmii ini file 1st you think you have a bricked wii - please do it 1st when watching the install priiloader youtube video

"EVERYONE WHO'S WII BLACKSCREENS ON REBOOT! YOUR NOT BRICKED! READ! hold the power button to shut your system down. take the SD card out and go to a computer. put the SD card into the computer. locate the BootMii folder. open it. locate the configurations file. open with notepad or a text editor. at the start, it has options on video output settings. it will probably be "PROGRESSIVE". if you live in the EU, change it to " PAL50" or "PAL60". For US change it to "NTSC". Save it. Close it. Eject the SD card. Put it into the Wii. Press the power button and you should be able to see BootMii loader. if you still see nothing, then either REBOOT your Wii without the SD card in. or wait for around 5-10 seconds and press / tap / hold the reset button for a second. you should then have a normal Wii boot screen (Press A to continue health and safety warning thing)"

hope this helps ppl who have been off the scene with an old wii hanging around
