Latest ipod touch?

    I am going to buy an ipod touch 3rd gen 8gb. Will I be able to jailbreak it or will it come with 3.1.3? I dont know alot about the ipod touch so I need some help.

    You need to check your box to see what firmware is on it. the 3.1.3 can also be jailbroken, but it's a tethered jailbreak. You'll need to use the jailbreak tool everytime you need to restart / run out of battery.

    i've tried using blackrain on the 3.1.3 ipod touch but have failed many times. any tips?
