Greetings, first post by me. I got a Macbook (not Pro) and used bootcamp to install Windows. Works very well, and it finds most devices, including the cd/dvd burner. However, Nero does not, it doesnt find the burner at all, indicating that its not supported. Anyone else having experience with this ? Cant find info on Aheads pages, and I am currently using the burning plugin in Total Commander to burn, but would like to use Nero 7 instead, being the supperior burning software.
I cant help you with Macbook, but if you're using Nero 7.2.0.3 or 7.2.0.3b then heres my recommendation This latest version of Nero is full of bugs, I recommend you uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install 7.0.8.2 a more stable version from here http://www.filehippo.com click on Nero 7.2.0.3 and then select 7.0.8.2 for a bug free version If this doesnt work there is always The Mac forum, good luck
Thanks for the advice, will check it out. And yes, I am using the latest version. However I think its just a matter of Nero not supporting the DVD/CD burner that the Macbook ships with, and I doubt that rolling back to an earlier version will help it, but I will give it a shot.
Unless there was a problem with 7.2.0.3 and 7.2.0.3b I wouldn't be advising members to go back to 7.0.8.2...I can only advise, but the decision is up to you.
