    can anybody help i've downloaded 257 bin file and i think i've fried my star view,all that happens is four flashing lights run across the front,no display no tv display nothin

    still working ok if the epg still slow but the clock correct and so is the aspect issues how long before yours went pop

    has anyone got the new update file as my box went of tonight 24/5/07
    and wont descramble any channels on n-l i have been using file 260e and tried 257e but none work i have gone into the menue and the descrambler is on.

    anyone please help

    just changed key codes and box up and running great only took 2 minutes

    the reason you have four flashing lights is the file you have downloaded has not installed corectly the lead is faulty or has come loose you need to re install 257e file again or maybe several times to get the box running again ensure your file is from a reputable source as i had to try several other files before it would accept the file.
