I have a new Sharp Aquos 42 inch lcd tv that I would also like to use as a monitor for my computer from time to time. I have a nvidia gforce 6200 video card. I bought a hdmi to dvi cable and connected it from the hdmi input on my tv to the dvi port on my pc. I went into my video card settings and the video card detected that the tv was hooked up to the pc. The problem is when i go to the hdmi input on my tv the screen remains blank. Am i doing something wrong and if so could someone please help me out! thanks alot!!

what are the settings on the video card when you are trying to drive the LCD? I am thinking you may have a setting that is not compatible with what the TV is expecting.
