I would like to know if all LCD monitors are capable of HighDef picture. What I'm asking for is because I want to hook up my Xbox 360 to my BenQ-FP71G+ monitor with a VGA cable. Will doing this reproduce the 360's picture to HD on my LCD monitor?

    Thanks

VGA is analog. You would need a DVI input to get HD.

Your monitor's native resolution is 1280 x 1024. Just connect the 360 with the VGA cable and set the console to output a resolution of 1280 x 720 and you'll get a pretty good 720p widescreen "HD" picture.

    EDIT:
I tried this with a Dell 1280 x 960 LCD monitor and I can't get it to display widescreen 1280 x 720. Maybe it's not a standard HD resolution but the results are still pretty good. GoW still looks great.
