I have an intermittent problem with Nero 6 when I either burn from shrink or even making dvd slide shows of my photo's. I am finding that my computer is getting hung up when getting to the writing leadout phase of the process. my computer is a pentium m 1.6Mhz with 1Gb of ram. I am using XP SP2. and Princo 4x dvd blanks.
    any help would be appreciated

This problem can be caused by using poor quality media, burning too close to the disk's outer edge too fast.

Try using a different brand of media, I personally like Sony DVD+Rs (made in japan) or Verbatims.

Have shrink or nero recode2 produce smaller files sizes to keep from burning too close to the disks outer edge. In shrink goto: edit-->preferences, in the preferences tab choose custom from the dropdown menu and enter a value of 4300.

Try burning no faster than at 4x, if not already doing so.

Thanks John. I thought that may have been the case, although the dvd photo slide show I was trying to make was only 300mb.
