Least possible way to get banned from live w/ modded xbox?

ok just a fyi i went online today to update a couple of games with 1.6 and a new xbox 360. today i did the network test to see if im banned...not banned!

what does this mean for me? if they didn't ban me when i went online with 1.6 already could they ban me if i go online again, or is it unlikely? just wondering whether to buy a 12 month gold sub or not...

 

most likely you'll be flagged the ban wave is over for now but its not certain how long until the next sweep my friend

i have flashed my toshiba-samsung ms28 to xtreme 5.3a firmware and i am now playing online. Isn't a non-stealth fw like this or 1.41 the same thing as what LT would be anyway?

 

because stealth checks are what supposedly causes the different response times from the game/drive where the stock FWs dont do stealth checks. If your games are stealthed/patched/verified properly, you dont need stealth checks.

i dont know if it's the same, i'm sure he had some handy features built into LT (or maybe not)...but yes, you're right: the closer to stock fw you can get the better

 

This is really interesting. Hadn't heard about the non-stealth older firmware working before. My only question is will I be able to play newer games like Left 4 Dead 2 and MW2 just fine?

 

yes the older firmwares will run newer games just fine because they doent do wave checks, which makes it even safer
