ive never done any case mods before except change the color.

i wanna get into it more and give my computer a little style.

i was thinking of making a glass window on my case so you can see the inside and then throw in an led light.

so first, will i even be able to make a smooth cut into my tower? and with what?

and second, i have run out of four prong power suppy cords. i have a six prong, i was hoping i could a light with that. if i cannot, where else do i connect it to ?

can get a molex splitter that gives you more power connections. can use a jigsaw with a steel cutting blade. mark out the hole you want to cut & use a drill bit on the inside 4 corners of the hole big enough for the jigsaw blade to fit into.

Also if you live in the US, CompUSA has a window kit that also contains what you need to cut the panel to match the window that comes with it, including the rubber seal for the window-case side.

google "case modding". you will find dozens of sights with advice and every part you didn't know you needed. most sights have photos of modded cases that may give you a few ideas for your case.

if i get a molex splitter do i have a bigger chance of my computer overheating or blowing a fuse in my power supply ?
