LED lights help please

    does anyone know how to install LED lights where the power lights are on the NDS lite?
    i have been searching on google and i dont know how or what to buy to be able to install different color lights where the power LED's are. thanks for any insight

    i believe you will need the almost-microscopic-led lights out there. i believe they are the surface mount LED's. You will also need soldering experience (duh) and a decent soldering gun.. its literally just desoldering the old and soldering the new

    wait, youve put new LED's in your DS? how do i desolder. and also, would i need a resistor? i know what kind i need if i did need one, but thanks for any imput

    i personally have not put new LED's in my DS.. but desoldering is the same as soldering except instead of getting the stuff to stay in place you want to remove it.. so just melt the solder and pull the LED off

    there should already be a resistor in place, but since you're changing colors I would recommend replacing the resistor as well because different colors use different voltages and amps

    ok. thanks. but i cant find the resister of the old LED's. is it on the back of the motherboard? maybe its not that big as the PSP.

    Just follow the traces both ways till you find it, if all else fails just stick in another resistor with the LED. 330Ω is usually about the minimum for normal LEDs so it shouldn't effect it too much even if there is another resistor in series with it.

    330 ohm resistor
